For science
And for those who first watched it in syndication what channel did it air in your area?

For non-americans what channel did it air on in your home country and did it channel hop?

Weekday mornings at 6:30 on WPIX-WB11 from 1995 to 1996 when Dragon Ball Z replaced it.

Before that though, there was the ""Return of Sailor Moon" episode that aired on WNYW-Fox 5 one Saturday morning.

I started watching it very early on, but I can't remember which channel I watched it on.

It wasn't long until I started watching it on Toonami (1997, when I began kindergarten).

The first Sailor Moon I saw was fansubbed versions of the R and S movies at a teeny tiny local sci-fi con in 1996. :creeper:

Oh wow, an interesting question for non-'mericans.

Well I mentioned before that I saw Sailor Moon on the TV at around 1995. Back then the DiC dub aired on CheezeTV in the mornings on channel TEN, watched it before going to school. Then it hopped to channel 7 on The Big Arvo at around 2000 or so. At that time Australia only aired the DiC dub so only the first 65 episodes ever made it to Australian TV, I eventually learned about the Dark Moon Clan properly in 2007 from bootlegs. Crystal is currently being aired on ABC here, weirdly the government owned channel. xD

I think it was through one of my local TV stations during its original syndication run for me.

The first 65 episodes I saw in syndication on whatever local channel aired them. I want to say they aired the show around 10am at first and then later the show moved to a different channel at like 6am. The remainder of the dub I saw on Toonami. I watched the first six episodes of Stars via the Negavision fandub and then watched the rest of that season through fansubs.

YTV in Canada. Also on Global and Fox. I liked how the Fox version had their own custom eyecatches.

Bought the entire series on a whim right after Christmas 2005. Watched an episode right before work during the following year. That sort of positive reinforcement about hope and stuff helped me get through a rough spot in my life.

I first saw it in early one morning on WB11 back in '96 or '97. It wasn't until it aired on Toonami that I got to watch it regularly.

Toonami was my first exposure to the 90's Sailor Moon anime and I'll never forget that year, best summer vacation I ever had (I really want to tell the story but I've held back because it'd be a pretty long one as it'd not only cover the Toonami stuff but my history with the series as a whole, if you guys are interested in reading about it I'll edit this post with the story).

Toonami. I can't remember the first episode I saw, but I remember watching Jupiter's debut episode, the SuperS movie, and some of the S/SuperS seasons. Even back then, I thought Serena's voice sounded just weird in those episodes... I was around 6. I saw the commercial for the Irwin dolls, and asked for the Sailor Scouts for Christmas in 2000. I got Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask. I didn't seriously watch the show until about 10 years ago though when I got more hardcore into anime.

Sailor Moon was one of the very first anime I saw, along with Tenchi Universe, Dragon Ball Z, Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star, Pokemon, etc.
