S also had the sexualized scantily clad Daimons and Stars had that scene where Michiru coyly asks both Seiya and Haruka to help her change.
Oh? I never was bothered with either since it was obvious they weren’t in a sexualized context like that changing in front of Pegasus scene was.
Personally I’m okay with nudity when it comes to teenage or adult characters, heck even children if the nudity is displayed in a non-sexualized context, what creeps me and I think pretty much most people out is if that nudity of a prepubescent child is in a sexualized context.
And it’s not the sexuality part of it that bothers me, again I would have no problem if the same were done with teenage and adult characters - but the fact that the sexualization is being done to a literal child.
It just gives off creepy pedophilic lolicon vibes to me, in fact I would much rather have a scene of let’s say Usagi in a situation like that with Mamoru where the nudity is even more explicit (say nipples showing and everything) than what we ended up getting here with Chibi-Usa and Pegasus.

I can confirm that didn't make me uncomfortable. Why do americans always find uncomfortable things everywhere?

. Honestly anything in the show that did make me uncomfortable were likely things I just weren't used to. If I looked at them again, I'd probably feel nothing.

WAITING FOR COSMOS THOUGHTS #3
- I guess nothing's really going on so...
- Putting most of the videos in spoilers so they don't take up too much space.
- I hear Stars diverged from the manga more than SuperS, I guess I'm really in for something if it's that different.
- I think I like Sera Myu's Sailor Stars version of the Shadow Galactica arc more than the anime's. And that was only [about] 2 hours. Perhaps I might really like this arc as a movie.
- Why was there a black screaming Galaxia ["Buttress"] in Sera Myu?

- I actually really liked its ideas of the characters forming bands along with the villains. Plus, there was HaruMichi and Usagi joining the Starlight's. And who could forget "Beauty Cutie Mystic Dynamite Unite Special Option Supreme Love Band" ..... I certainly couldn't.

If you want to have a great experience, try not to watch these promo videos and avoid reading the manga.
Stars is the most mature arc of the manga and in my opinion it should top Infinity (Crystal season III).

Act 29: Infinity 2 - Ripples
- I must confess something: I was never a Hotaru fan. I’m not really interested in that « I’m gothic, I’m weak but I also have the power to destroy the world… but I will save it » trope. She is one of the most popular one here but not the most interesting to me. She is the Jupiter of the outers and that's not a good grade in my book
- This episode is a little less pretty than the previous one, some Michiru shots are a bit weird
- Haruka pulling Usagi’s hair is weirdly done, they should have changed that. It's... childish and out of place ?
- By the way not a very big fan of Michiru’s hair in this version, or even with Tadano's design. It was more elegant in the OG anime. There is still "that shot" from Cosmos trailer where she has absolutly perfect hair though
- Mars Snake fire is a bit unoriginal but I really like Jupiter Coconuts Cyclone, seems so powerful (for a very weird name hehe). Coconuts, heart attack and uterus, that would be Naoko's biography title
- Nice to have a scene of 4 witches commenting Eudial’s defeat. They were really Takeuchi’s peak design.
- All has been said about Uranus kissing Moon. Lack of consent, predatory behavior that damages lesbian’s images, etc. I don’t really like judging a 30 years old work with nowadays values and it's clear that Takeuchi didn't think a lot when drawing this. I can't stand all these « Uranus is genderfluid, Seiya is toxic and narcissist » honestly.
Act 30: Infinity 3 - 2 new soldiers
- By the way why did they let the word « soldiers » in the title ? Why wasn’t it changed to guardian ? Is it the same in the new manga edition ? I don’t want to leave my sofa to check my volumes, sorry. Since they also kept soldiers in Iron Mouse dialogue in Cosmos, I suppose it's all intended
- Loving the piano music they play during the Usagi inner memory about Haruka and Uranus. By the way it’s straightly adapted from the manga and a bit weird, with Haruka seeming feminine then masculine. Could have been done with more subtlety
- Generally speaking, the music composer seemed more inspired in this season, or maybe he had clearer instructions from Kon, the music is anyway better than previous season. It would came back to being very generic in Eternal though :/
- HaruMichi picking Chibiusa by helicopter to bring back her home is a bit ridiculous bit it’s a 90’s manga so, well…
- Not of a fan of how Uranus and Neptune faces are drawn on the last shots. It’s their first appearance so they should be gorgeous, here they are kinda bland.
- This is the last episode with this ending by the way. Really loved it, the song is great and the animation is full of references (episode 111 hands, Utena’s opening…).

It's like Usagi is meant to be portrayed as this pure-hearted, kind and gentle soul who's Jesus reincarnated and see no evil BUT she's not stupid and is witty enough to see danger in Hotaru whereby everyone else sees her as a simple girl (who didn't go and reveal their secret identities to her father or media).
I’m one of the ones who has labeled Seiya that but I absolutely agree that calling out Uranus for spontaneously kissing Sailor Moon is eye-roll inducing and reaching. What, characters aren’t just allowed to surprise kiss other characters now in an outburst of spontaneous passion? They must first ask permission before every interaction? Boring, mood-killing and just plain unnatural within the context of a narrative - was this really a talking point back when Crystal season 3 first aired? Because this is what I would call a true over-reactionary woke take (not the “woke” like how most Conservatives think is just about racial and sexual diversity), if you can’t tell the difference between Uranus’s surprise kiss and Demande’s forcibly rapey one, get better media literacy I implore!

Sailor Moon is fantasy. Does Haruka have two sexes? Ok. She's no real. She's the reincarnation of a Goddess called Princess Uranus who is also a warrior whose obligation is to protect the most powerful Princess Goddess in the galaxy.....(even if that Princess doesn't need her protection having already the ultra power of the Silver Crystal.....

Nature also gives people different sexual orientations. And Nature designs asexual organisms and other living beings (not humans). The rest (non-binary, aromantic, whatever those new terms promoted by the LGBTQ tribe, a tribe that doesn't represent all gays, lesbians and bisexuals in the entire world) is just a mental state that can be respectable and shouldn't be an imposition.

Act 32: Setsuna, Sailor Pluto
- Uranus and Neptune attacking and telling inners they are not allies. Okay but not coherent with later scenes: Haruka flirting with in the park while she waits for Mamoru, HaruMichi saving Ami at the Mugen School. They are not allies BUT they still flirt with them / save them ? One scene they are distant and agressive, the other they help them. I know they are torn up between their duty and their feelings but it’s not very nicely done.
- Chibiusa is really cuter than in OG anime, it’s kinda cute seeing her crying about missing her mother or trying to make her parents closer. By the way I like the UsaMamo mini drama with unsaid jealousy and all. It’s a nice depiction of everyday couple problem that could be resolved with simple dialogue but can’t because each partner has a bit too much ego.
- This episode has a nice animation director, I like his or her style.
- Finally UraNep henshin. Wish Takeuchi gave them items, it’s a bit bland to transform with only your hand while your leader has some overly complex compact ! The face frame with them shouting "make-up" is pretty though, and I still it's better her than the version we would get later in Eternal
- Liking that they used UraNep 90’s entrance choreographies but blending it with Crystal style. It’s really pretty even if some moves seem to lack some frames to be honest
- New ED: sure it’s a weird vibe but it’s cute and nicely animated, and I appreciate that they give this season 3 op versions and 3 different ED. Hard to nitpick after season 1-2 that had some song and animation for 26 episodes !
Act 32: Setsuna, Sailor Pluto
- Indeed the prettiest episode of this whole reboot. I'm inclined to think it's maybe better than the movies but it's just my taste
- Wish Setsuna, Motoki and his girlfriend (what’s her name again ? Rika ?!) had their whole own series. Since she is older than HaruMichi, she could give a more adult vibe
- That subway scene with Motoki and her gf is like the best thing that was drawn since this reboot beginning… That foreseen woman character reading is so pretty… She really looks likea Clamp character, don't you thinkg ?
- Professor Tomoe is so pretty and menacing, the staff probably really liked Tomoe's shots from this episode since they would reuse them later. Is it weird if I think he is kinda hot there ?
- Chibiusa’s school friend offering her a SUPER Sailor Moon cup. This boy has spoiler informations obviously hehe
- Loving that we can see characters with regular clothes. This Haruka leather skirt is so good ! Itoh created a settei for this outfit but it was never used in the OG series unfortunately

It's not hard to understand. Nature has always given mankind two genders, of course with different sexual orientations. Then, you have the 'terms' the lgbtqia286547236489512568s+ ....whatever it's called....has made up. Humans are not (will never be) hermaphrodites.
