Yeah.... In act 10 it was so difficult to go to the moon, but then................. everyone could fly..............

Now that I remember... Did you notice that in Act 10 Sailor Moon attacks by using her tiara she no longer has? :circles:

  • I never had any problems with the 90s version's, I like plenty of moments here and there, but it wasn't the strongest [also SEVERAL ppl have essays about how its actually terrible so...yeah].
  • In PGSM I liked it a lot to but some of the moments between them near the end were a bit eh. I just wished they had more positive downtime so I could imagine them together more.
  • Whether I would say I prefer this Usagi and Mamoru too their 90s/PGSM counterparts is debatable.
  • I liked Queen Beryl more in this than the 90s version [though PGSM version is bae:kiss:]. :luna: was also nice to see here, She's so sweet, I love her here. :happy:
  • Everyone else though

  • I still feel the same way about the designs. I like that they're different and they look fine to me [when done right of course]. :roll:
  • It still generally felt like an elongated movie. Perhaps I would have enjoyed it more that way [not completely sure tho]
  • Moral of the story........ PGSM is my favorite version of the "Dark Kingdom arc"!!! :bow::circles::dance:

I'm not completely sure what you mean by "real" but if you're saying whether I cared for it at all or If I PERSONALLY felt like it was realistic [refer to the SpongeBob Gif].

I could just be me not knowing how much time has passed but considering their personalities before they met Usagi and the level of interaction they have now. It kinda felt like this but unironic.
To be fair I'm not a "friend's expert".

SAILOR MOON R

Ok so when I watched "Sailor Moon R" I liked Ail and En. I liked that they could normally interact with the Sailors at school and on the streets. I actually felt kind of concerned when Enn flew off the handle in their last few episodes.

As for the Black moon arc: I didn't mind :chibiusa:..... at all. It felt so weird why she was hated to this level. She always just seemed... ok to me. [Same with 'Human :luna:' in PGSM, I don't even remember her taking that much time in PGSM either she was just kind of "sus" there]. As for her whole situation with Mamoru: I just took it as a "Oh, she's just a child who doesn't understand romance" and "I wanna marry big brother when I grow up" type of deal. I didn't think I was supposed to take it seriously in anyway. And after this season I thought she was just doing it to mess with :usagi:. BUT she can be annoying, and that's enough for most ppl [plus there could be other reasons]. :P

I liked the whole thing with Rubeus and the Spectre sisters [mostly Koan] Although I mostly liked their "Dic" selves. [will insert video here if I can] Its just when I got to "Crystal Tokyo." I kept having problems.
  • I kept losing interest by the end somehow [there were a good few episodes I liked however, like "Saphir's death", "Nurse Venus", "Ami's Illusions", etc.] It does feel like this season would be really nice to watch week to week.
  • I didn't care for the whole "Black Lady" plot.
  • didn't catch anything between Demande and Saphir the first time.
  • Didn't care for Wiseman at all.
  • The visuals didn't always keep me engaged. [I kinda feel like it was the master's or/and my fault for that. It felt like SPECIFICALLY this season's colors were off]
However, I did like the action this season had, as well the the movie [which is my favorite of the original 3 movies]

I think I probably explained this badly/weirdly. Let's see what Crystal II has to offer! :happy:

  • Demande's legs looks kinda weird.
  • I'll be honest. I couldn't keep track of who I should pay attention to at the getting home scene. :googly:

  • There's been ppl catching on fire! That doesn't sound good! ::eeklez:
  • Chibiusa gave Luna the death-stare when she approached Luna-P :chibiusa::fork::luna:
  • :rei:: "No thanks Ms. Grim Reaper" - Sounds like something I'd hear in the Optimum dub.
  • HOLY CRAP!!! they're burning people alive [I heard Koan burns kids alive in the manga] :umno:
  • I was.... kinda hoping Mars would've killed Koan and not Sailor Moon ^_^'
  • Mars was abducted by the Clan and she's on fire. SOMEONE SAVE HER!!! STOP THEM!!!
  • Interesting and [relatively] dark first episode. I wonder where this goes.

  • "Abduction Sailor Mercury" - I wonder what's going to happen in this episode. P-::?
  • I still don't trust Chibiusa's lips. I swear they'll stab you when you're not looking. :creeper::chibiusa:
  • At least Mars isn't on fire anymore. :roll:
  • This chess match w/ Berthier feels more intense.
  • Dang, we actually see Ami's father walking out. :neutral:
  • That was the most dramatic chess piece fall I've ever seen.
  • So, Mercury can make clones [plus "Shine snow Illusion] :ami:
  • Guys ...... you won't believe this.......... Mercury got abducted. :sad: Who would've thought.
  • I really liked this episode. I think I actually liked it more than the 90s chess episode. [Although I still like than one, the reconciling of the sisters was extremely sweet, and I loved that part. I just didn't have strong feelings for the rest of it]
  • I wasn't expecting them to pull up that stuff about Ami's father, bringing her to tears when Berthier said, "You know that people that you treasure will disappear from your life one day." That hit kinda hard for me.
  • I hope Crystal II keeps this up. Loving it so far! :happy:

One of the best ideas not in the source material or more like putting a twist to it. :ami:'s very own mizubunshin which has both offensive and defensive properties. Too bad she will never use it again. Even if she did it wouldn't work at all for next season. ^_^'

Well you’ll be in for a change of pace here because like with Kunzite and Zoisite, there is absolutely nothing between Demande and Saphir here. (Quite the opposite in fact) That was all Ikuhara’s original idea.

Chibi-Usa’s “thing” for Mamoru on the other hand…. Oh boy get ready because you’ll be in for a real surprise here lol.

  • Aw, Chibiusa tried to cheer up Usagi. :chibiusa:
  • Mako has covid. :mako:
  • Usagi: "Is she an enemy or an ally?" - If the beings chasing this girl are burning innocent ppl alive and kidnapping your friends, and this girl tried to make you feel better that morning, I think it's fair to say she's not that much of a threat.
  • Something about Wiseman's voice in this seems a bit.... flamboyant.
  • If Asuna [forgot his name so I'm calling him this] overheard their conversation & Luna talking, I'm wondering If anyone else overhead :luna: This is what happens when you talk loudly in a restaurant.
  • Mako: When I'm not well, I build up electric static. :mako:
  • I never thought I would see Mako's parents.
  • :mako:: [To Asuna] "My parents died in a plane crash :blush::mischief::wink:" - that's literally what happened. Mako also spills the beans to Asuna.

  • That goofy scream the droid made when it died. :rofl:
  • Petz: "Ah, a worthless fool who doesn't even know how to die?"
  • Mako: WHAT WAS THAT!?! YOU'RE TOO FAR AWAY!!!
  • So, "Sparkling wide pressure's" basically "Supreme thunder" but "STRONGER."
  • I'm feeling a bit more satisfied with the facial expressions and animation this season thus far.

  • Rubeus seems more attractive hot f***able chill in this version. :vanish:
  • Saphir: "You've lost valuable people, aren't you even a bit angry?"
  • Rubeus: "I'm merely following Prince Demande's wishes."
  • So no, he's basically saying "no". :P
  • Poor Chibiusa! The way she reacted to seeing the Malefic Black Crystal earing was saddening. :chibiusa::unsure:
  • I wasn't expecting to see "Calaveras Second Oldest Of The Four Spectre Sisters" mourn her sisters like that. I think I'm just used to them having a terrible relationship while they were evil in the 90s version.
  • The generals make a reappearance. They inform Mamoru of a new attack. :dance:
  • Rubeus: *after Tux kicks him* You've injured me. :confused:Now you will realize the powers of Crimson Rubeus' true flames! P-:
  • Tuxedo Mask: ::eeklez:Oh, no. we're in trouble!
  • I found that whole bit hilarious. :lol:
  • Tuxedo Mask has a ranged attack, yay. Also no one got abducted this time. :happy:

  • The Clan seems much more menacing here [Imo] Seeing the red marks go through their bodies in the crystal made me. :neutral:
