It quite cheesy but the story is a nice modern take of the dark kingdom arc of it time. I just wish it had more money into the project…

ACT 1
- Tuxedo Mask is a jewel thief.
- Sailor V asserts dominance by CGI'ing past him, taking one of the jewels, then Naruto chases him away.
- I think one of the classmates may be a mean girl.
- I feel like I've heard that Sailor V song somewhere.
- Naru's Mom runs after Naru like she Jason Vorhees.
- I like 'Plushie Luna' more than 'CG Luna'
- Thank goodness Naru's Mom landed in a super comfortable sleeping position.

- For some reason people standing in front of Ami while she's walking make me unhappy
- Ami's life is saved by pop music.

- Ami safely CGIs herself to the ground

ACT 3 [I usually watch 2 episodes a day, but I have plenty of free time so]
- They had a quiz show, I just made an "animatic" for the 90s CD drama quiz show.
- I'm really warming up to the music.
- I don't want to make any assumptions, but I feel like Ami wants to be "friends" and not just friends.
- There's an airplane Youma crossfading around a circle of unconscious girls.
- Queen Beryl does a weird hand thing.
- Oh no, he's blowing leaves at Rei. Its hopeless. She's going to die.

- The preview made me think it was a furry party. I was so disappointed

- Does anyone else see Usagi changing clothes? There are cars right behind them.
- Jesus, aqua mist is lethal!
- Nephrite: [sucks teeth] *dramatic cape flip*
- *Steven Universe flashbacks*
- Tuxedo mask: LOUD INTENSE CAPE FLIPPING
- I want to see a battle consisting of nothing but cape flips. Neither party must come back alive.

ACT 5
- Motoki to turtle: "Hey let's go for a walk next time" Is he flirting?
- Was Ami just sitting there the entire time clapping? No bathroom breaks or anything.
- Dang, they ran in fast forward.
- Tuxedo Mask didn't say "Farewell"
- I wonder where Ami's glasses went. I thought that person at the end was a secret double ganger trying to steal her identity. Turns out Its just Makoto.

I think Keiko Kitagawa (Mars) and Akaya Komatsu (Venus) are the best actresses. I surely hope they are viewed as serious actresses and are no longer “idols“ today.
The performance delivered by Aya Sugimoto (Queen Beryl) is by far the best. She conveys the emotions of Queen Beryl in a very convincing way: facial expressions, eyes, gestures. My educated guess is that she is the most seasoned actress in this show.
I think Keiko Kitagawa (Mars) and Akaya Komatsu (Venus) are the best actresses. I surely hope they are viewed as serious actresses and are no longer “idols“ today.

Pros:
Very good plot, further development of Inner Four and the Four Kings, interesting take on Princess Serenity.
Good Cast overall, all girls were beautiful and fit the role.
Cons:
Bad Costume, especially the four kings.
Bad special effects and fighting scenes.
Luna's human form and Motoki's character were meh. I also don't like Nephrite's characterization, sure it's based on Naoko's design, but the anime one was 10 times better.
