There's a lot of complaints about the stock footage that's been effectively traced/redrawn from the 90s in Crystal/Eternal, but not every attack was that way. The first season typically came up with its own animation or used real-time attacks, while S3 only rehashed some of them.

With that in mind, from the first few seasons, are there any classic 90s attacks you would have wanted to see in the Crystal/Eternal style?

Personally, I'd go with Jupiter's Supreme Thunder and Mercury's Shine Aqua Illusion. Shine Aqua is easily one of the prettiest attacks in the original series, and Jupiter's is just plain cool with her summoning the lightning down from the sky.

Not an attack but a defense spell. Silent Wall.

Also some of the scrapped ideas you see in the S opening that were possibly recycled.

Possibly Jupiter Coconut Cyclone.

Possibly Venus Wink Chain Sword.

Oh yeah. Rolling Heart Vibration.

I want the attacks from the S opening done over. They were wasted and not ever used as stock.

Other than that? Jupiter Thunder Dragon would be awesome if it was done well with a proper new scequence.

I don’t mind them homaging the 90’s when they put their own twist on it like World Shaking and Dead Scream in the Eternal movies. What I’m not a fan of is the copy paste job like the Double Moon transformations.

Honestly if they could use a mix of stock AND real time that would be ideal.

I agree! That would definitely be nice to see!

I'd also love to see some of the powered-up variants of old attacks like Venus' chain there. We kind of got some of that in S3 if I remember right, but not a lot.
