Sometimes I feel that they made SMC3 because they didn't want the franchise get cold, they just wanted us to have something to watch...   When I watch SMC with my father and mother, I usually play season I or II. If I play season III, they usually scold me because I waste money to "this thing"

Season 1. My reasons for which have all been listed, but my biggest disappointment was simply how much they changed from the manga. I wouldn't have minded had the changes been well-done, but nearly every change they made made things worse instead of better.

^ I won’t say that the romance wasn’t clumsily written but why is it THAT bad that they all cried after seeing four humans being obliterated right in front of them?
It’d be funnier if they were nonchalant but it was a perfectly normal way to react xD
My problem with the crying is their reactions were too similar. Like I could buy Venus crying because she was the most in-tune to her past memories. But I think the others should have had more diverse reactions. Like Mercury could be in shock, still trying to process everything. Jupiter could be angry, wanting to avenge them. And Mars could have been the one to deliver tough love, saying that while it's sad they can't afford to let it distract them from their mission.

@The Blizzard Prince: Exactly this! All the Inners crying made them less like individuals. I like your suggestions, a shocked Mercury, tough love Mars, angry Jupiter, and Venus is the only one who cries.

If I were them, I would made 3 movies for season I, and the last movies would contain act 11 - 12 - 13 - 14. The transformations at the end of act 11 would be cut out. Those 2 minutes would be for Shitennou saying their bad words or last words to their lovers, and turned into the stones, "teleported" to their Master's place. Mercury would be the one crying the most, and Jupiter would comfort her. Mars would just stand there, with her hair bang hiding her eyes. Venus was crying to, but she would say "Everyone, let's go. We have to rescure our princess."

^ I chortled after reading that last reason xD
your welcome   but it was true Crystal Chiba was creepy to me (didnt help he wore a Tuxedo in the middle of the day for no reason) just for the fact he was able to bed Usagi In Just 5 or 6 Episodes The Usagi I Know and Love isn't that easy shes tough, sexy and wouldn't sleep with a guy simply because of their past lives.

just because they were lovers in the past isn't a good enough excuse for me and the fact she went into his house without even really knowing him didn't sit well with me either its like jumping into some strangers car because he offered you candy anyway to get on topic the whole series is bad in my eyes if the humor was left in and Chiba didn't have a creeper feeling to him I'd have probably really enjoyed it (minus Sen x Shi XD)

^Never understood why Mamoru Chiba, of all people would wear a tuxedo during the middle of the day. If there's one both the 90's anime and PGSM did right, it's having him in a casual outfit.

Well, S1 was trash, but S2 is just unbearable to me.
Not only the designs managed to get fuglier, and animation remained crap, but the writing and characterization of the main cast got worse as well.
Season 1 had at least a couple exciting episodes, mainly the ones introducing the new guardians. But season 2 is just consistently boring and ugly looking.
Season 3 tho

I voted for Season 1, too. Mainly because of all the character moments being removed and Usagi commiting suicide in the present!
Usagi committing suicide is already part of the story!
But if it were me, I’d write that a bit differently

...like having Endymion strike her down and have her be force to kill him.
Heheh.
I’d love this too, actually. I dug it a lot when it happened in Buffy.

^ You might replace "Crystal" in both logos w/ "trash," then replace "Season III" in the latter logo w/ "light."

The first two seasons were pretty much equally horrible. My feelings are summed up by this image.

I mainly disliked the first season. And THIS IS soo hilarious

Season 3 easily.

the bad kid-like art style and repetitive use of the attack footage.........
Eh. Good for you.

This made somewhat more sense in the DiC dub of the 90s anime where they changed it so that Darien was a part time model.
