Yup, I wish I'd return too, but I oughta be there first. :P Anyways, I think most of y'all first watched Sailor Moon as kids, so when did you, like returned to watching it again? =^_^= I mean, like how old were you, why did you decide to watch it again and stuff... Wondering what y'all would type/write. Oh, and when I find a good excuse to not write my story, like right now, I'll make sure to write it here. P-: Oh, and if there's another topic like this, feel free to, like delete it. :) No biggie... not for me at least! :D Anyways, don't forget to write/type how you felt when you started the 'comeback'. Now get yapping! :)

Watched a few episodes of the DiC dub in syndication as a kid. Came back to catch just one more episode a few years later, but then it went off the air the very next week, so it was only that one episode I got to see when I came back to it, then.

Came back officially in the Summer of 2009 when I did my large scaled watch of EVERYTHING: All 159 episodes of the dub, all 200 episodes in Japanese and subbed in English, all three movies dubbed and subbed, all five specials subbed, all 49 Acts of PGSM, all supplementary PGSM materal (specials, DVD extras, interviews, the stage performance, etc.) subbed, all chapters of the manga, and all sidestory chapters of the manga, all chapters of the Sailor V manga.

I was 19. I've been here since.

I was 22 years old. I used to watch Sailor Moon on Toonami back in the day. and I also watch it on UPN44 before CW44 shows up. but, When I first saw "Birthday Blues Part 1," it gets me to thinking. Hmmm... What if I draw Usagi/Bunny/Serena putting on her glass slipper?

Lets see I've done this a couple of times.

Yes, I first saw the show when I was 11. I came back first to it when I found it on DVD when I was 19-20 because of the good memories I had and a desire to actually see the whole show. Unfortunately the people around me at the time didn't have any interest. So after I finished watching everything, the show just sat around on a shelf and was rather forgotten, being carted around as I moved from place to place in boxes. Then years later after I moved (yet again) and was going through boxes of things in 2011 I came across my manga. Right then I remembered "this stuff is good". :D More unpacking and a little web surfing to discover the vibrant fan community later, I now proudly have both the Sailor Moon anime and manga out on display. And I probably annoy people around me with it a little still. ;)

I watched the original 65 episode DiC dub when it was on, and then I moved to Cartoon Network at the same time Sailor Moon did. Then I moved onto other things shortly after it "ended". I wasn't until December 2010 that I started watching it again (and yes, I remember that it was December 2010 because that was when I was stuck at home after having ALL my wisdom teeth pulled). I was browsing TVTropes's list of Abridged Series and Sailor Moon Abridged caught my eye. After I watched through that (almost tearing my stitches from laughter), I decided to rewatch the entire anime as it was originally intended and to read the manga. I did both throughout 2011. I'm still an avid Sailor Moon fan now.

I guess, technically, I've never left it. I got into "S.M" randomly when I was about 11/12, and aside from a brief airing of the anime in the UK that lasted for about 12 episodes, it's been only my personal interest in the franchise to keep me 'into' it. I guess I've been more active as a fan since the manga re-release and news of the new anime...

Never left.

Sailor Moon first aired in San Francisco as a trial market back in the summer of 1994 on Channel 44. I caught the last episode of the dub that they had at the time and instantly fell in love with it. And when I turned on the station the next day, I was upset that only Usagi was shown - they started the series back up from Episode 1. I used to watch the episodes on my Game Gear (with the TV attachment) after school at the time, and I would religiously watch it daily, even if I had seen the same episodes. When I first discovered that there were more episodes and characters on some merchandise I found at a Sanrio store, I was soo excited.

When I went to college, I discovered E-bay and was able to buy the Japanese trading cards and dolls that way. And that's what I did - I spent years collecting Japanese Sailor Moon cards, especially once I discovered Yahoo Japan.

In 2003, I got a new job and switched to collecting production artwork. I avidly collected Sailor Moon cels for years, and still will buy a cel if I think it's nice. When I first started collecting Sailor Moon cels, there were lots of them still on the market. Every week there were at least 2 quality cels on Yahoo Japan for sale. But now, I rarely see anything that piques my interest.

I started watching Sailor Moon on WPIX Channel 11 at 6am every morning, and then I continued into 1997 when they aired it on USA. I started taping it around then also.

Then I got lost on it, up until 2001 when I was watching to on Cartoon Network. Then I took another long break when they stopped showing it there.

Then I got back into it with the Japanese Versions on DVD, last August, its been a fun ride so far espeically through the original episodes.

So that's my 'foray' into Sailor Moon :)

I took a break from the anime when the dub was taken off the air in 2002
then I discovered PGSM in December 2003 and the Japanese version of season one January 2004 but after that
I stopped watching anything SM related till 2005 when I just randomly decided to get back to it so I rewatched season one sub
then my old tapes of the dub for a while then I decided my sole mission was to collect the rest of the series in Japanese
I had classic so I got Stars and R then S followed by SuperS in that order in between anime seasons I finished PGSM
and began the manga after that I came here :o

I did not really leave SM, but after the "S" season finished on Cartoon Network I did not have cable/Sat anymore so I missed the "Super S" series(I did see the last 3 eps on DVD), I still have some episodes/movies on VHS so I saw that. A few years later I got internet and started watching again, but again I don't think this is considered leaving/returning.

I never really left. I may not have been able to watch it on TV, but I drew Sailor Moon every chance I got, collected as much as I could. My love for all things Sailor Moon never died. If anything, it's even stronger as an adult now that I truly understand and can grasp Sailor Moon in all its greatness!

I started watching it when I was very young, so I don't have that many memories. I remember watching bits and pieces of the first three seasons whenever it was on television. My favorites were always Sailor Venus and Sailor Pluto. I particularly liked their long hair. I was always torn between the two until about 4 years ago when I officially named Sailor Venus as my absolute favorite! And my least favorites were always Sailor Mercury and Sailor Uranus mostly due to their lack of hair. :loltext: I also have memories in Blockbuster where they sold the Bandai Adventure Dolls, they were like the prettiest dolls ever... to me... and I vaguely remember having Jupiter, Mars and Venus dolls, which were all purchased from Blockbuster and eaten by my dog eventually. I miss Blockbuster's late '90s and early 2000's era. :loltext: But anyways, I'm getting off track here, I would say I started getting back into Sailor Moon in the last 4 years.

Obviously like everyone here i watched it as a kid, then probably about two years ago I ordered the dvd's off amazon and had a Sailor Moon marathon then ordered all the English re release of the manga and began reading all of that. I've become obsessed with it yet again as a result and I'd really love to see the live action series so if anyone knows where to find it please let me know.

been a Moonie going on about 15 years now and proud of it!

Same as me! The only difference is that I've always known that I like Venus more than Pluto.
