My favorites were always Sailor Venus and Sailor Pluto. I particularly liked their long hair. I was always torn between the two until recently when I officially named Sailor Venus as my absolute favorite! And my least favorites were always Sailor Mercury and Sailor Uranus mostly due to their lack of hair.
Same as me! The only difference is that I've always known that I like Venus more than Pluto.
Yay!!! Someone like me =^_^=
Well, I mean... I've always known Sailor Venus was my favorite too, but I would go through these phases where I'd be like "Hell yea, Sailor Pluto is a bad bitch," :loltext: and always switched between the two, but deep down I've always known without a doubt that Sailor Venus is the best.

Return? I don't know that I stopped watching it since I started it. I gave up on keeping track of rewatches a loooong time ago. Maybe here and there I went as much as a year without dusting off a VHS or having a marathon day with my hard drive, but I always have dozens of songs in my normal playlist rotation and hundreds of wallpapers in my wall rotators. I always have posters and scrolls up in my room. I participated in a roleplay chat room for about ten years. Not a day goes by that Sailor Moon doesn't cross my mind in at least SOME capacity.

I first watched it when I was 6 or 7 and was obsessed for a few years... And well, even a few months means a lot if you're young, let alone a few years - that stuff tends to stay with you forever. I never TRULY left it: the few objects I had with SM I still have today (Panini album, coloring books, a few comic books that are actually just screenshots from the anime with speech bubbles on them, a moon-shaped shampoo bottle with a Sailor Moon sitting on top of it...) - never had the heart to throw any of it out along with my other toys. And then I came back when I realized I was old enough to like whatever the heck I wanted  . To be honest, one of the biggest impulses was that now I could get merchandise that I only dreamed about when I was a kid. Namely a Serenity figure... and then a ton more figures :)). The manga. And I also want a big-@$$ wall-scroll and the wands / brooches once the new anime is out :). I always joke around that I'm living the childhood I wish I had now that I'm in my twenties. Oh, and it also helps that now I can draw the girls and post them anywhere I want without feeling embarrassed about it. :)

I watched it when I was 4-6 when it was on Toonami. I liked it enough to ask for the dolls for Christmas (got Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, which I got rid of in 2007 when we moved).

I "returned" when I was in 8th grade in 2008-2009 because I was getting involved in more and more anime, I naturally came across it more, and checked it out again to fulfill my curiosity, and I began watching the English episodes from the beginning. I later made online friends in the fandom and began participating in fandubs and radio/audio dramas, mostly as Tuxedo Mask. And so on... :P

I miss the old Toonami.

I was about 3 or 4 when I first met Serena. So the anime had been around for a good few years. I'm not sure how many years I watched it....I think...it must have been 96/97 when I first saw it O.O And then in 99 we lost our satellite. I MAY have shattered it with a football :ninja: so I only actually watched it for 2-3 years O_O It really left an impression on me though. We got our satellite put back in around 2005 and the first thing I did was go looking for SM but of course by then it wasn't being aired anymore. in about 06/07 we got rid of our dial up modem in favour of broadband. I was actually really busy week school so it wasn't until '09 that I went looking XD And thanks to Youtube I was reunited with the dub :D So I watched all of that and then moved onto the sub. After that I heard there was a comic so I looked that up too XD

Pretty recently, actually... I was browsing pinterest and saw one of those fanmade pictures (I think it was of the crystal) saying "Sailor Moon 2013", and I was like "whaaat??"
So, I looked it up and got pretty excited, and saw the beginnings of the new merchandise being released and fell in love with the shining powder compact.
I decided to watch the whole series over again... my main excitement has been over the amount of quality merchandise aimed at adults.

I watched it when it came out of course, and read the comics...
During the Sailor Moon World days I picked up a few of the dolls- wish I had gotten more since they were so cheap then.
I remember watching PGSM when it came out, too.

It's just something I kind of get interested in and then lose interest again really.

I guess the first time "since I stopped watching when it went off the air" would be middle school ish maybe older high schooler? Most of the VHS (Sailor Moon, Power Rangers, Pokemon, non-Disney animated 90's movies, some Disney movies) from when we were kids were sold but I found the vhs of Sailor Jupiter and Venus arrive and that pique my interest.

As for my initial interested, I first caught interest when it was still on the USA Network, around 1996 ish before I thought it would be one of those stupid "girly" shows like Rainbow brite or My little Pony but it got my attention. I remember really excited for when they promoted "17 all new episodes" on Toonami in 1998 and then being excited again for the new season in 2000 when they used Raye's premonitions and New Sailors as a promo point. I also remember being anxious to see who the "new scouts" advertised in Follow the Leader were, since there was a 2 year hiatus between R and S. Thank God I didn't start watching when the show was first syndicated, having to wait 3 years just to finish the Negamoon story arc would have been hell.

In short: I have deliberately purged it from my memory, but after seeing references to it again and again, I started remembering, and doubting whether it was really something I should leave behind.

Then when I was in a suitably "screw it" mood, I threw my hands up in the air, sat down at youtube, and watched the first season. The rest came naturally.

Hmm... I watched it as a kid because I liked Greek mythology and started hoping Venus would be on the show. And then she was! <3 I would say I have interest more based on *specific people* I like being in the show, more than the series as a whole. So of course I never stopped having that interest, and likely never will!

But I had indeed left the *fandom* in the past, due to feeling like people were acting pretty mean and immature at the time... :( So I guess my ability to handle other humans (and be a part of the fandom online, etc) waxes and wanes... LOL I have met some good friends through shared interests and fandom too though. :)

About 4 years ago. My friend and I were roleplaying and she all of a sudden brought in Usagi (or Serena as she knew her as). Brought back my memories of coming home from school and watching the show. Ahh those were the good old days.

Just recently.

I read a few volumes of the manga, and it started growing on me again.

I have always been a fan of CLAMP, and the only anime/manga series that doesn't belong to the CLAMP multiverse and that I happen to like is "Sailor Moon."

I started to watch Sailor Moon for the first time on Toonami back I was little and it is the first anime series that I have ever watched. I started to watch the series again back when I was a sophomore in high school on my computer and the reason why I want to watch it again is because Sailor Moon has always been one of my all time favorite anime and manga series, plus it is also a part of my childhood too.
