Here's an idea that I brought up in the crack pairings thread that I feel would have been neat to have seen happen in some version of Sailor Moon.
Saphir (based more on his more benign Anime self) meeting Sailor Pluto (any version, though maybe more based on her Manga/Crystal self).
Both of these characters essentially want the same thing: To ensure the safety, security, and continuing reign of both their respective kingdoms and rulers, and to protect each from their respective enemy nation. However, the latter would never come to pass as long as the war between Earth and Nemesis continued to last.
It is my belief that if Saphir were to have been able to meet with Sailor Pluto, and if the two could have held a civilized discussion to hear each's side of the conflict between Crystal Tokyo and the Black Moon clan, a mutual respect (and perhaps more) could have been forged between these two duty-bound individuals, as well as a mutual resolve to help each kingdom come to reach a peaceful coexistence, even if they would undoubtedly face some opposition in the form of Wiseman, Prince Demand (initially), and possibly King Endymion (initially), who would all be very distrusting in the idea of achieving peace between the two nations after both had faced so much strife, loss, and turmoil from each other in the war (and, in Wiseman's case in particular, he'd attempt to quash any peaceful attempts since he'd want Crystal Tokyo and all its people annihilated).
