Also because in my childhood my favorite anime series was KEROKKO DEMETAN (Demetan the frog).
I very muchly love both its OP & ED themes, which are also in the collective memories of many in Japan & overseas. :)

And... yes after I've listened the songs 5-6 times I was able to sing it.
Lil kids can easily learn it quick, even tho they've no idea what those lyrics mean (that's also my personal experience lol).

So 10 years ago I found on the web the uncut versions on the web and also the same year a friend has recorded Japanese episodes of CANDY CANDY and the theme songs are also sings by Mitsuko.
Again, its OP & ED themes are two of her all-time greatest songs. Over here, even boys were attracted to that anime/manga classic, even tho it's a strictly shojo genre.

She is wonderful !
And she's GREAT!! Nowadays I'd consider her one of Japan's national treasures.

Generations of people have grown up / been living "under her voice," be it anime or J-dramas. (She's celebrating her 40th anniversary  - she's not very old, tho, since she did her debut anime OP theme when she was 12, & she can still pull off well in her staple mini skirts on stage in live concerts in the country & around East Asia nowadays. :oh: )

If you're curious ... I found the opening theme of Demetan exactly like we had on Quebec
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwECwet_ ... re=related

but in France... they had a French theme totally different and like a kid song who was'nt from Demetan but created by the French poeple...
WHY DID IT ??? XD

Well here in Quebec we were happy to have the Japanese opening song on the DVD.
For all the Japanese anime from 70s' ,80s' and 90s' the original Japanese songs are VERY GOOD, EXCELLENT!
I still a great fan of all these anime series... Kimba the white lion, Hutchy the honeybee,Candy Candy, Dock chuck monogatari,Astroboy,Lady Oscar, Sally the witch (from 60s')...ect

Totally agreed! :keke: BTW, there're tons of Micchi's clips on YouTube, & don't forget her official "Tomboy" site. She's released her 40th Anniversary album recently (I've yet to own one, but I've bought her 30th Anniversary one in Tokyo back then).

Oh, I don't know about her official site, can you let me know please? ^^
Well I'm living in Canada and here it's very hard to find something, I just can check on e-bay for find but it's very hard to find, well by luck I bought the Sailor Galaxia the Golden queen Japanese single CD on E-bay last December.

Mini skirts & hot pants have been her favorite stage outfits for 4 decades. :)

She's always like my elder sister.
I've forgotten to say thanks!
     WONDERFUL !

You're welcome. :) You can get her latest news there.

Too bad she hasn't kept her tween pics there - they're uber cute! :keke:

I meant her photos taken when she was a tween, not her son, who's now a teenager.

I voted Megumi Ogata (spelling? Haruka) because she was my absolute favourite senshi I think. I do love Saturn a lot, but her personality is way too soft so she didn't make as much of an impact to me.

Chika Sakamoto - I loved, Yaten was my favourite starlight. Yaten was cute.

Michie Tomizawa. Her voice is just perfect. I love the near raspiness of it... no one does pain like she does on the show either. And I love her singing voice. Especially in Flame Sniper and Eien no Melody.

She's also a good stage actress & singer in musicals (not the Sailor Moon ones). She always has my respect.
