I picked Rei b/c she's just sounds more like a singer than Minako, even though her actual voice isn't bad. Plus Rei acted the teeniest bit more like a singer than Minako, who's supposed to be an idol. I dunno, Minako should work on being more energetic and expressive if she's supposed to pull of her idol persona, and they all need to work on making their voices pack a little more punch (but I still love Sakura Fukubi tho).

I can't believe Usagi (Miyuu, of course) isn't in there!

Between the two, though, I have to say Minako. That song is not only catchy, it helps to defeat youmas!!

I made the post based on episode 23 where you can see them actually sing, b/ you could also draw reference to the episode to where Usagi was remembering seeing Minako singing w/ those heart earings. Usagi technically didn't perform, it was just karoake. You could still your opinions about her though, I think she's a better singer than Minako, she definitely has the punch I'm looking for, but there's something I want changed, don't know what it is though.

I was actually thinking of "Over Rainbow Tour", though I fear Miyuu's mad karaoke skills, as well.

Yeah, Keiko-chan's got the groove. I think the reason why I voted for her was because her singing was a kind of adult contemporary song, while Ayaka-chan's song applied to mostly little kids because of the beat/tune. Another reason might be because I absolutely love her!

I picked Minako, een though it's obvious that her voice is digitally altered in Ces't la vie. I picked her instead of Rei because, in Sakura Fubuki she doesn't really sound like she is singing. It's more like she's talking with a tune :P

She's not rapping. :? I really don't care for Minako's songs. I find her singing annoying. I like Usagi's song better. It ties in with Rei's. ^^()

It's all about Rei and it's all about Keiko. Minako's good and all but it's like asking if a flash bulb is brither than the sun. Sure it's bright and it hurts your eyes if you stare at it but the sun's just so bright it's crazy!
 Someone's biased.

Just keeeeedding. I'd have to pick Rei too. Same reasons. As much as I love Katagoshi ni Kinsei and C'est la Vie, I love Keiko's voice so much better. ^_^

Rei seems to be more skilled as a singer than the others, and seems to have much more rythem.

I actually could here Kitagawa-san have an english release (if she knew english enough) and it being popular on the charts actually...

Much as it pains me to vote against Venus in any poll, I must admit that Sakura Fukubi is mighty catchy.

Bleh, where's the "neither one can sing" option??
Since when has pop music ever anything more than a passing connection to actual talent? It's all just "product".

Rei is simply the better singer in my opinion. I wonder how Miyuu would sound if she didn't make her voice so high pitched in Over Rainbow Tour.

Well, both of the girls are idols who act as opposed to the singing kind, so I'm not going to hold it against them terribly that they can't really sing. I'm not going to take into account if I like one girl's song more than the other, either.

Ayaka: nasal voice; even in the recorded versions of the songs, she sounds bad

Keiko: her voice is easier to listen to; recorded versions of the songs are okay, but you can hear that she's struggling to control her voice even on a song with as little range as Sakura Fubuki

Frankly, they both really can't sing all that well. If someone held me up at gunpoint and forced me to pick one (^^;; ) I suppose I'd pick...Keiko.

I prefer Rei's voice. Neither are mega talented, but while Minako's voice is sweet and soft, Rei's voice a bit more range I think.
