Here's another one:
I like SuperS better than S in a lot of ways. I love the comedy in SuperS while S got a little too dark for my liking.

Yeeeaah .. Sailor Moon was always full of extremes when it came to character proportions, but really? Her waist is half the width of her head...

Unpopular opinions? Well, some have stated similar things already, but I didn't get the romance from the anime. At all. Usa and Mamo are so tepid. Yeah, they smooch and say mushy things that bring new merchandise-creating wands sometimes, but I never felt a sense of connection romantically past Classic's finale. Mamoru generally strikes me as aloof and embarassed by Usa's antics, and Usa wastes her time flipping her lid at the notion of her own daughter/friend/villain/MotD stealing him away. Meh.

Her waist reminds me of those Western women in the past who squeezed their waists w/ their special costumes for doing just that - so much that their internal organs were dislocated. XD

I think I have a few but my mind is being a little fuzzy right now:

1. I actually liked the song "I wanna be a Star" in the English dub of Sailor Moon, as well as the one on the soundtrack. I thought it was really catchy and fitted well with the episode.

2. I liked Fisheye better as a woman than as a male in the Super S series. Fisheye in the anime (subbed one) just creeps me out. I'm just more used to him as a girl instead of a boy. As for Zoicite, I like both. Although I like his Pgsm counterpart more than his anime counterpart (and I don't know who was more creepier in the anime...him or Jedite?)

3. I actually like the Pgsm live action series and it's my second favorite next to the manga of course. And I actually like Sailor Luna. She was way more likable than Chibi-Usa and it was nice to see a change of Luna's side. And I also like Princess Sailor Moon (even if she does scare me and reminds me of Inner Moka from Rosario +Vampire). It was nice to see a badass side of Princess Serenity/Usagi compared to other versions of her. And I liked how she put Beryl in her place. And the harp music wins (in my opinion) :D :D :D :D :D

4. I actually liked the missing/lost episodes of Sailor Moon, in particular the Usagi as Cupid One. I thought it was really cute, romantic, and seeing Usagi dress up as a sexy singer....he he he he :D :D :D :D :D :D

5. I might as well be honest and admit that I actually liked the Sailor Moon Super S movie. I thought it was a really interesting movie and it was nice to see the Outer Senshi (minus Hotaru...though it would be nice to see her too) again, and I liked the music that's played in there. And I liked the dream scene between Mamoru and Usagi :D :D :D :D :D , plus Badianu was pretty cool and I liked Peruru a little more than Helios (though Helios is hotter).

more to come along the way :D :D :D

Ooh, I thought of another one.

Sailor Moon's attacks in Stars are the most boring, and uninterestingly animated in the entire series. Seriously, I'd happily see her do the slow-mo tiara-removal slow-half-spin aim-toss all over again than her attacks in Stars. It seriously seemed to me that the animators didn't know what to do with her huge stiff wings as they limited how she could physically move. Every season prior to Stars was more and more elaborate with more physicality, and in this one all she could basically do was stand, spin, and pose. But even her spins were less interesting than those seen in, say, S... The tight close-ups on the wand (kids this is cool you should buy this) or in Crystal Power Kiss where she stands there with a hand on her hip and the camera/point of view is focused the WAND, not her (seriously kids go bug your parents) not once but TWICE... Bleck. I know the show always had a focus on merchandising, but her attacks in Stars just seemed worse than all the others. I mean, you see the wand before you see her on Therapy Kiss. And in Crystal Power kiss it's like she's showing off the special features if you buy all the parts. (Hey look kids, you can extend it!) :|

-Despite a rough start, I actually really Linda Ballantyne as Usagi, and think she's the best dub actress the character had aside from Terri. I do wish she would've used a voice closer to her Serenity voice for the character though.
-I always found Terri Hawkes' voice overrated/a bit annoying, but I do appreciate how she seems to genuinely "get" the character of Usagi.
-I have nostalgia for the entire dub (aside from a good bit of R, I never cared for it much even as a kid) and my nostalgia is actually strongest for S and SuperS dubbed. (and the first half of Classic)
-Despite my nostalgia though, I see no reason to defend any of the bad aspects of the dub nor wish any future dubs to repeat their same mistakes, and wish more people would give the sub a chance.
-I'm not a big fan of the musicals or the live-action. I actually like some stuff from them, but the live-action format (especially in PGSM) and the characters breaking out into song in the Musicals make it hard for me to get into. ^_^'
-I wish Ikuhara could've stayed on and directed Stars.
-I'm not a big fan of the Soldier x Shitennou pairings.
-Beryl is my least favorite villain of the entire series. She's better in the manga, but still not great.
-I think Queen Nehellenia is probably my favorite villain.

Honestly I still find it somewhat surprising R was even done by Ikuhara. It lacks a lot of the distinctive qualities all his other works have. Maybe since it was his first time in charge he was afraid to change the formula too much, or there were some other issues at play?

The manga is better than the old anime in every possible way.

If the new anime looks like Precure I will not be mad.
Well we obviously disagree on that.

I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion but mine is that the anime is better then the manga in most ways. Also I would not watch the new anime if it looked like Precure.

I agree with the Senshi/Shittenou pairings. For the most part I don't care for them.

For me PGSM was fine until the 2nd half.
Reasons? I've got two. :|
I agree with this. I personally hated the execution of Sailor Luna and even the concept is strange and makes no sense. I also think Princess Sailor Moon made no sense as Usagi and Princess Serenity should be the same person and not some kind of split personality. Although I will say I did like Princess Sailor Moon's outfits and attacks.

I probably would have liked Princess Sailor Moon if she was say a new form like a step up from Eternal Sailor Moon. However the way it was done was just weird and strange.

I'm hoping it won't materialize in the new anime. I'll tolerate only one senshi X general pairing.

It made business sense to TOEI though.

I agree. Everyone should have had split personalities in PGSM. Her blowing up the whole planet didn't make any sense.

It might make sense to her since she was a lunatic/psycho. :P

The dub is not that bad.
I like the SuperS movie better than the R one.

- Sailor Moon R is the best season. Sailor Stars is the worst. The only good episodes were the ones that concluded Nehelenia's storyline and even then her redemption was annoying.

- Tracey Moore receives too much praise despite only tackling the klutzy, crybaby teenager aspect of Usagi's personality.

- The Starlights are among the worst characters in the entire franchise. Usagi x Seiya is also one of the worst pairings I've ever seen in my life.

- Sailor Moon S is inferior to R and Classic.

- The inner's SuperS attacks seem weaker than their Classic/R attacks.

- I'm glad we didn't get anymore eternal fuku's in the anime, they're hideous.

- I don't think the breakup was unnecessary or dumb.

I somewhat agree with this. We never got to hear a lot from Tracey so I do wonder how well she would've handled some of her other sides, and her acting for more serious scenes. That's why I say casting a non-Dic/CWi actress is the way to go, unless she could prove she could handle those other aspects.

Isn't that a fairly popular opinion? :P A lot of people seem to prefer her simply because she was first/a Dic VA (she handled the serious side great, but I can't remember how well she tackled her silly side), and I thought people preferring Emilie Barlow was the more unpopular common. (liking any Cloverway voice but Chibimoon's seems to be unpopular)

Because she sound the most like an actual teenage girl. Hawkes sounded like a bimbo , and Ballatyne sounded like a deranged muppet. Moore only ever got a chance to tackle thy one side of Serena, but that doesn't mean she couldn't nail the other aspects.

Stephanie Morganstern > Emilie Barlow
A lot of people prefer Morganstern. Mostly people who are weirdly loyal to Dic despite Optimum hiring the voice actors.
