In my opinion its Fruits Basket and Inuyasha as both series have lots of similarities to Sailor Moon, they tend to be the only series I cross over with Sailor Moon as well.

In my experience, Sailor Moon crossovers only work well when the series in question has a lot in common and or parallels to the events in Sailor Moon.

Which do you think are the best series to cross over Sailor Moon with and why? :3

Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I'm planning to write a crossover between those. It's pretty twisted, but oh well xD
For some reason I can't see Sailor Moon being crossed over with other Magical girl series, I don't know why I guess I just view each Magical girl series as their own universe with their own seperate magic, mythology and lore. I said I could only cross over Sailor Moon with series that share similar traits to it, but I can't cross it over with series that are TOO similar! ^_^'

Sonic the Hedgehog. Think about it. Both Sonic and Sailor Moon have done some pretty similar things. (Like Time Travel.) Sonic would have no problem reaching SM's world with Chaos Control.

And, here's a crazy theory, that me and my equally crazy friend came up with. Shadow and :setsuna: are related.

-Both have red eyes
-Both have control over time.
-Somewhat similar personalities. (Both very serious)

Like I said, it's an insane theory, and I'm not being serious at all.

(Why am I constantly bringing Sonic into SM? Well, I was exposed to SM, as well as a certain blue hedgehog, around the same time, at a very young age. So naturally, both hold a very special place in my heart.)

I'd like to see Sailor Moon crossed with Trigun. It would be interesting to see how Vash and the senshi get along. Sure, Knives and Legato and others would try to kill them, but that's beside the point. It would be funny to see how they get along with Meryl and Milly too. Maybe the senshi would drive Wolfwood crazy l o l

The biggest thing I look for in a series to crossover with SM is that the UNIVERSES need to mesh well.

Can Series A be successfully inserted in Series B without contradicting the canon details of either series? If the answer is no, and you want to do it anyway, then you have to call it an AU.

In the universe I envisioned, Neo Queen Serenity rules over the Earth, which is a part of the Galactic Republic. The GR are desperately trying to fight the invading Sith Empire which has become difficult since the Decepticons joined the enemy after Cybertron was destroyed. Fortunately the Autobots have joined the Republic and together we all fight for a peaceful future.

It seems whenever I concoct a futuristic story, it always has a utopian Earth with Crystal Tokyo and Neo Queen Serenity.

I actually like that idea (I can picture Usagi complaining about the heat already) :p

I was thinking of a crossover with Sailor Moon and Winx Club. Think about it. Two programs with a group of girls who can transform to kick evil butt.

See, I like the idea, but this comes back to the idea of universes not meshing well.

In SM, planetary princesses become Sailor Senshi. In Winx Club, they become fairies. How do you reconcile this? Do you give the Winx girls older sisters that are Sailor Senshi?

If its the live-action series, a crossover with either one or both of the Kamen Rider & Super Sentai franchises seeing as they were the biggest influence on the creation of Sailor Moon.

Just imagine the following scenarios:

The Senshi teaming up with Magiranger to stop the Dark Kingdom-Infershia Alliance from taking over the Earth.

The Kamen Rider Club from Fourze teaming up with Sailor Senshi to investigate Zodiarts activity in Mugen Academy, in which it is revealed that Prof. Tomoe has been using Zodiart Switches to power a new breed of Daimons - with funding from the nefarious Foundation X! (those science guys from Kamen Rider Double who funded the Gaia Memory & NEVER (undead super-soldiers) projects along with Mituaki Gamou's research on Cosmic Energy & Zodiarts Switches)

For large-scale crossovers, team them up with Kamen Rider Decade leading the Riders and the Gokaigers for the Super Sentai side to stop the alliance between Dai-Shocker & the Dai-Zangyack Empire, who have co-opted Sailor Moon villains on each side (ex. Prof. Tomoe (enhanced by Horoscope Zodiarts Switches) & Crimson Rubeus (revived as an undead NEVER super soldier) working for Dai-Shocker, Prince Demand (turned into a cyborg using Neo-Empire Gear tech from Bioman) & the Dead Moon Circus (enhanced by the dark power of the Gedoushu from Shinkenger's Sanzu River) under Dai-Zangyack.)

Any similar scenarios from both franchises are welcome as well as ideas for other live-action properties to crossover with.

And one or more of the senshi might have a crush on Vash. Maybe he would remind Mako of an old sempai haha
Yeah, I bet Usagi would be into wolfwood (Have you noticed his resemblance to Chiba Mamoru?). However, Luna would be all over her for it. She'd probably suspect him from the beginning.
