Hotaru After Tomoe

Similar to my thread about Usagi post-Cauldron...

After taking out Pharaoh 90 at the end of the Infinity arc, Saturn dies (?) and is reborn (?) as a baby who is then raised by Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna. At that point, for all intents and purposes, she is no longer Souichi and Keiko's daughter, whether or not she may still be so biologically. My question, therefore, is what is Hotaru's last name from then on? Her retaining "Tomoe" as her last name makes little sense - she may still have some memories of her time as their daughter, but that's no longer relevant to her present life. Assuming she must have a last name for legal purposes, it makes more sense that she'd take either Haruka's, Michiru's, or Setsuna's (most likely Setsuna's, since they seem to be the closest). AFAIK, Hotaru's full name is never stated for the remainder of the series, so her canonical last name in Dream and Stars is technically ambiguous.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Should Hotaru stay "Hotaru Tomoe"? Or should she be "Hotaru Meioh," "Hotaru Kaioh," "Hotaru Tenoh," or even something else entirely?

Saturn is also known as I鎮星 (tensei) and 填星 (chinsei), so perhaps she could get a new surname using one of those kanji instead, or with kanji signifying silence or destruction.

For me her three moms would still give her te same family name. After she is still Hotaru, most likely the same being. Her father was the worst, but still...

I mean... legally her last name would still be Tomoe since Setsuna took her from Soichi Tomoe in the beginning of Stars and I would assume that’s what they registered her name as after she was reborn at the end of S. So she would only have a different last name if she wanted to legally change it.

You must have an ID. It makes sense that she keeps the name Tomoe, in a way.
She keeps memories of her previous incarnation, and people around her know her by that family name. We don't change names overnight.
