Saying an anime episde was made a week before it aired for Crystal is very naive thing to say. Episodes take way longer to be done. It is clear Crysta;l s 1 and 2 was behind schedule so most of the clean up and fixes were a bit rushed, but you cannot possibly believe an anime episode can be done in a week. And you are stating it as a fact, which is completely untrue. They were worked till the last minute and it is evident, but they are not done in a week of time. That is why you have multple teams working on epsiodes. You can at least check the proccess and how it works, so you can make such statements. The problem with Crystal season 1 was bad quality control and rushing, most likely due to scheduling problem, but this is way different than "made a week before it aired". Remember the first episode was shown weeks before the actual premier, the Moon Pride video had all the transformations in it, and it premiered with act 2. If the fact some episodes were missing preview for the next episode, or in these previews there are placeholder backgrounds, this is part of the post production that indeed can take place in the last minute. Usually an anime has at least 4-5 episodes done before it start airing. Which gaves the different teams a month of time to work on another set of episodes.

No, she just corrected the art. She also corrected Crescent Beam a bit, if you look at Minako's eyes. Being an animation director in anime is about keeping the art consistent and/or on-model by redrawing parts of the animators' frames.

Here's the Sailor Teleport sequence from the R movie, which was done by Hisashi Kagawa. You can see Tadano's corrections next to the original images.
those are so beautiful!

My apologies.

The impression I had was that they were animating the episodes 5 days before they aired.

You’re correct.

I think some of prior versions are very good already and they don't need to be fixed.

I have sooo much respect for traditional animators. It looks like a tough job. Im glad to have seen some of the anime from the early 90s when I did. This looks great

Well I guess they won't reveal any new cast today. I am not surprised but still a tad bit disappointed. I guess the two reveals being on Tuesdays was a pure coincidence. Still hope to see Nehellenia soon.

The laziness in animation of Sailor Moon Crystal is nothing compare with Shokugeki no Souma's. The season 5 of that anime is like a huge Powerpoint presentation project. :yay::yay::yay:
mh im watching that series and that one i feel it very rushed now, than before owo, mh i dont know if is because in the manga this arc have bad reception and only want to finish the anime owo

Oh gosh.. I hope it comes out normally first. Netflix rarely does physical releases for their exclusives...
I think this will cover territories outside the US. I doubt Viz would let Netflix stream it. Plus it means we can watch it sooner and not waiting till next summer and most likely 2022 for physical release in the USA.
In any case this tweet means literary nothing. I highly doubt the film to end up on Netflix, as Netflix has nothing Sailor Moon related. This is just a random tweet.
